Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has not ruled out the possibility of Wandile Duba becoming the club's main man upfront, but there is one thing he still wants to work on in the player.
Duba inspired Amakhosi's comeback victory over Mamelodi Sundowns in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals over the weekend, scoring the goal which levelled matters before Ashley Du Preez sealed a 2-1 win with a late goal at Loftus Stadium.

The 20-year-old Duba recently returned from injury and has shown his value to the team, scoring goals against TS Galaxy in the league and Sundowns in the cup. In total, Duba has six goals in all competitions and is raising his hand to become the club's main man upfront, but there's something Nabi wants to work on to ensure the player is in the right frame of mind.
“Regarding Duba, I think he has a lot of technical and physical quality. The only problem that we work on is the mental problem," Nabi said via his interpreter and assistant coach Khalil Ben Youssef, after Amakhosi knocked Sundowns out of the Nedbank Cup and booked a final with Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates.

"You know younger players when they start to play, and with a lot of fans like Chiefs, always he is not 100 percent ready. So, for that we try to work on that. Next season I think he has a lot of progression to make and he can make it, why not? If he gives us a solution as a first or second striker next season."
Duba has never been short of confidence and it's evident in how he conducts interviews. He made it clear that Chiefs want to go all the way in the Nedbank Cup and believes they can do it, as they want to become a generation that wins trophies. With a mindset as strong as he, the youngster could have what it takes to be the club's main striker.
