Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has sent a message to the supporters who are eagerly waiting to end their near-eight year trophyless period.
Chiefs, in a rebuilding phase under Zwane, who is in his first season as a head coach, have had a bumpy ride this campaign but their hopes of winning trophy in over seven seasons were raised after reaching the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup for the first time since 2019 with a narrow win over Motsepe Foundation Championship side Casric Stars.
The Glamour Boys have since been paired with Royal AM in the quarter-finals and Zwane says they understand the pain the supporters have gone through and one day they will put their smiles back to their faces.

"They must hang in there, we understand their pain, they've been there through thick and thin, they never gave up on us and we understand the situation, we'll make them smile you know one day," Zwane told the media in the quarter-final draw.
"We'll definitely make them smile. All of us as the technical team and players we know what is at stake, what is it like to coach a team of Chiefs' calibre and to be part and parcel of a Kaizer Chiefs team," he said.
'Mangethe' went on and explained that the reason they have not been consistent during the course of the season is because they had a number of injuries to deal with, which affected their regular line-up but they are confident they will turn things around.
"Just to make sure you know we win every game that we play and unfortunately it has not been the case because of the challenges, like I said we have been unfortunate in terms of injuries, not having a consistent starting XI, suspensions and many other things you can't control," he said.
"But we kept on grinding, we kept on working hard and we believe that we'll turn things around," he added.
Chiefs went to the international break on a high after winning their fourth game in a row in all competitions with a 3-2 victory over Maritzburg United.
