After Kaizer Chiefs confirmed the signings of six new players, here are the jersey numbers they will wear for the club in the 2023/24 Premier Soccer League season.
Amakhosi announced Molefi Ntseki as the new head coach at the club last week and have now confirmed the arrival of six new players. The Soweto giants have confirmed the signings Given Msimango, Mduduzi Mdantsane, Pule Mmodi, Ranga Chivaviro, Edson Castillo and Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, who penned a pre-contract with Amakhosi during the January transfer window.

Msimango, signed from TS Galaxy, has been handed the jersey number 25, a number famously worn by Bernard Parker in the past. Interestingly, Msimango and Parker were teammates at Galaxy last season and the latter told Soccer Laduma in an interview that he gave the defender some sound advice ahead of his move to Naturena.
Chivaviro will wear a number seven, a jersey previously worn by sporting director Kaizer Motaung Jnr. What's interesting is that midfielder Mdantsane will don the jersey number three, which is often reserved for defenders. The 28-year-old Mdantsane, who came through the Amakhosi development structures, wore the number 10 at his previous club Cape Town City, but that jersey number is currently on the back of Keagan Dolly at Naturena.
Amakhosi have handed the jersey number 13 to attacking player Mmodi. The 30-year-old has finally realised his dream of playing for Amakhosi and will have an opportunity to show what he can do when the new campaign gets underway.

Phathutshedzo Nange left Amakhosi recently to join SuperSport United and his jersey number 24 will now be worn by Ditlhokwe, who joins the Soweto giants from Matsatsantsa.
Chiefs, meanwhile, are yet to confirm the jersey number of Venezuelan midfielder Castillo.
