Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the signing of a South American midfielder, as well as Pule Mmodi and Ranga Chivaviro to bring their number of acquisitions to six ahead of the new campaign.
Chiefs have been busy behind the scenes in an effort to make up for last season's disappointments and they have gone as far as South America to bring in midfielder Edson Daniel Castillo Garcia, who has been handed a two-year deal, with an option to extend for another campaign.

The Venezuelan central midfielder joins the Soweto giants from Monagas SC in the Venezuelan Primera Division.
Amakhosi, meanwhile, have bolstered their attack by bringing in Mmodi and Chivaviro, who were in the colours of Golden Arrows and Marumo Gallants respectively last season.
Chivaviro has been one of the most talked about players since the close of the season and, with Richards Bay FC recently claiming that he signed a pre-contract with them, chances are this could be the beginning of a legal issue.
Chivaviro, who inspired Gallants to the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals with his goals, has agreed a two-year deal with the Naturena based outfit, which has an option to extend for a further season.
