After reaching the CAF Confederation Cup final two years ago, Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi weighs his chance of a return to Africa.
Nabi reached the CAF Confederation Cup final with his former club Young Africans in July 2024 after they knocked out South African side Marumo Gallants in the semi-finals.

Chiefs initially held talks with the Tunisian with the view of bringing him on board shortly after the 2022/23 season but the two parties could not agree on terms and the 59-year-old coach joined AS FAR Rabat instead.
After Amakhosi's campaign looked tainted, a boost of morale with a 1-0 win over Stellenbosch has also revived hopes of the Soweto giants qualifying for the CAF Confederation Cup.
Nabi has suggested that they dropped too many points early in the season because he insisted on playing attacking football even though they did not have enough quality players.
"Honestly, the majority of the games I chose to play my game model, of Kaizer Chiefs, playing offensively and high," Nabi told the media at a Nedbank Cup pre-match press conference.
"And maybe I don't have all the material for this football, some people say 'ah, park the bus, helicopter football'...
"Thankfully I'm not on social media, (otherwise) it would be suicidal (laughs), generally I want to play offensive football and this is a project.

"We will push maximum, I want my team in this season, my dream is to go to CAF. It's not easy but I want to put this in my players' heads, we have the capacity, same for the Nedbank Cup, we push," the Tunisian coach added.
The signing of Tashreeq Morris, Makabi Lilepo and Thabo Cele could give Chiefs a strong push in the final straight to finish in the continental spot, as they are currently just four points behind third-placed Sekhukhune United, with 13 matches remaining.
