The Soweto giants have communicated the latest developments in a statement on the club's official website.
"Kaizer Chiefs will play three of their DStv Premiership home matches in Polokwane this season after reaching an agreement with the Polokwane Municipality," confirmed Chiefs on the club's official website.
"The matches that will be played in Limpopo's capital are against Royal AM on 29 January; Lamontville Golden Arrows on 19 February and Swallows FC on 2 May 2023," the club confirmed.
Chiefs' marketing and commercial director Jessica Motaung said, as quoted on the club's website, "We are delighted to be back in province of Limpopo and the city of Polokwane in particular, where we enjoy great support. We are looking forward to three exciting games with a full stadium because we know that the people of Limpopo will come out in numbers because they love Amakhosi. Their support proved key in the past when we lifted the league trophy with the New Peter Mokaba as our home venue. We hope that history will be repeated when we play at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium again."
