Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that they have made a decision on the future of Cavin Johnson at the club.
Amakhosi, who have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to start preparing for the new campaign, had Johnson as an interim coach after parting ways with Molefi Ntseki last October.

At the time, Johnson was serving as head of development and indications were that he would return to his position at the end of the season, with Amakhosi bringing in a new head coach.
But the club has now confirmed that they have parted ways with Johnson, in a surprise move considering he was expected to return to his initial post.
The former Platinum Stars and SuperSport United coach was given the tough task of leading the team after Amakhosi let go of Ntseki before the halfway mark of the campaign.
He made a promising start and kept Amakhosi in the top eight by the Christmas break, but the second half of the season was an absolute disaster for the club.
