There has been one major change between the mentality of the Kaizer Chiefs of last season and the current squad says head coach Nesreddine Nabi.
It has just been one game into the season, but the Chiefs' mentor can already notice a massive difference in his side's approach to games.
The Tunisian tactician highlighted his side's mentality to bounce back, despite conceding an early goal against Marumo Gallants in their 2024/25 Betway Premiership opener.
Amakhosi would rally back to win the game 2-1 thanks to goals from the young duo of Mduduzi Shabalala and Mfundo Vilakazi.
"The most pleasing difference I see in the team from last season is the winning attitude of the players. Before, if they conceded a goal, heads would drop. This is an important change in culture, which I am very happy about," he said via the club's official website.

"I am very happy with all the new players who played but I don't want to speak about it too much yet because it's still early.
"Coaching this Club is a big responsibility and I want to thank the Kaizer Chiefs management for bringing in these new players and giving me the "green card" work with and I am happy with a good start," he said.
Chiefs' next challenge will come in the form of AmaZulu who they face in Durban on 25 September.
