Kaizer Chiefs defender Rushwin Dortley has seamlessly adapted to life in Johannesburg since joining the club from Cape Town Spurs at the start of the season.
The 21-year-old attributes his progress to a strong support system, his upbringing, and his ability to stay focused despite potential distractions.

Dortley shared that his move to Johannesburg hasn't overwhelmed him, as he remains committed to his primary goal—playing football.
"For me, I really see no difference between Cape Town and Johannesburg because I know why I came here. I only go out to buy food and (essentials). I don't really see the difference," the former Cape Town Spurs defender said.
"Everyone knows it's the traffic in the morning, you have to leave an hour earlier if you are going somewhere. Traffic is hectic. That's the difference."

The Bafana defender added that discipline has been key to his transition.
"The weather is almost the same as well. You just have to adapt to the new place, and staying focused. And that's for knowing that I came to Joburg for work and I have the support from my family who visits me now and again.
"And the most important thing to do, is the things that I am here for and that's football. Not other things. I am here to come and play football and represent Kaizer Chiefs and I think it has helped me a lot to stay focused and my family too. They are always there for me," Dortley concluded.
