Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brandon Petersen has expressed optimism about the club's progress under the guidance of new coach Nasreddine Nabi and his technical team.
Speaking to journalists after the launch of the Carling Knockout in Sandton, Johannesburg, Petersen highlighted the positive changes when compared to previous seasons.

Petersen, who has been sidelined with an injury, emphasized the team's eagerness to get back on the field.
"We are itching to get going now. The supporters, the players, everyone is looking forward to the next game. All this because we can see progress now. The mentality that we have now is that we take it one game at a time. There is a lesson in everything that we are doing and things are looking really good," Petersen told the media.

"There is progress you can see. The whole technical team has brought a different vibe into the squad and things are slowly falling in place for the good of the team," Petersen added.
Regarding his injury, the goalkeeper shared that he has returned to training and is eager to rejoin the side soon.
"You know I have been out with injury but now I am back in training. I have been training for the past two days and everything looks good. I am looking forward to be with the team and travelling with the team. I am excited to be back and I am looking at being with the team now," Petersen told journalists.
