News reaching the Siya crew is that Kaizer Chiefs look set to put one of the club's midfielders on loan in January.
Sources close to the club have indicated that Matlou, who is currently on the mend from a knee injury, may struggle to secure game-time at Chiefs this season.

It is understood that Nasreddine Nabi is content with the current squad.
"The club appears to be exploring options to loan Matlou to a team where he can stay fit and get regular playing time in the second half of the season. Although he has resumed training after his knee surgery, it doesn't necessarily mean he is in the coach's plans for this season. To ensure he gets the opportunity to play, they are likely looking to loan him out. The club is believed to be searching for a team that needs him and is willing to agree to the loan terms and conditions. Given that his contract runs until June 2025, there is also a possibility that the loaning team could negotiate a permanent transfer," an insider revealed to Soccer Laduma.
Sources have further informed the Siya crew that Nabi has already identified the core players for his squad this season, which could result in several injured players being loaned out or released.
"The coach seems satisfied with nearly 99% of the squad he has started the season with. He is reportedly in need of just one winger and one striker, which he has been trying to bring in from outside. However, since those plans haven't materialized, it appears that players currently injured or not playing, including George Matlou, are not part of his immediate plans," the source added.

Matlou, 26, joined Amakhosi in 2022 from Swallows FC on a two-year contract, which was initially set to expire in June this year. However, the club exercised the one-year extension in his deal, which runs until June 2025.
In his first season, he made 12 appearances under coach Arthur Zwane, and last season, under coach Molefi Ntseki, he was becoming a regular until a knee injury halted his progress after seven games.
Soccer Laduma reached out to Chiefs for comment, but there was no response at the time of publishing.
