The story
Botswana captain, Thatayaone Ditlhokwe completed his move to Al-Ittihad from Chiefs in a surprise move last week and was officially unveiled at his new club on Monday.
"TT" as he's affectionately known had only joined Amakhosi two years ago from SuperSport United on a free transfer, making a total of 32 appearances during his time at the club.
In his introduction video as an Al-Ittihad player, having joined the outfit on a deal until 2027, Ditlhokwe shared his first words to the fans and put them at ease regarding the pronunciation of his name.
"My name is Thatayaone Ditlhokwe. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the president of Ittihad for giving me this opportunity to showcase my talent.
"I would also like to tell the fans that I know my name is difficult to pronounce, but they can just call me 'TT," he said.
