The story
As Masandawana gear up to host Orlando Pirates in a blockbuster Betway Premiership clash at Pretoria's Loftus Versfeld on Saturday, the club made an exciting new addition.
Sundowns' social media pages finally gave fans what they've wanted for the last couple of months, the "signing" of viral TikTok creator, known as Dedrick "Big Player" Bonolo.
The online sensation, who also dabbles in music, has grown his brand with his "That one soccer player ko kasi" series. It's a running gag that sees Dedrick cosplay as an egocentric, superstar footballer that plays for Sundowns.
The defending league champions, Downs, are now officially playing along with Dedrick's football persona and heeded the call from their fans to announce him officially as a new signing.
Downs' creative social media team went all out on this fake transfer announcement, using it as a promotion video for Saturday's encounter with the Buccaneers.
