The story
Bafana Bafana defender Siyabonga Ngezana celebrated a major milestone as his club, FCSB, advanced to the UEFA Europa League Last 16 on Thursday night, with the baller celebrating with a fan afterwards.
FCSB secured their spot in the Last 16 with a commanding 2-0 win over PAOK Thessaloniki at the National Arena in the second leg of their playoff tie.
Ngezana started the match and played the full 90 minutes on Thursday, with the baller handing over a jersey to a supporter in his side's full-time celebrations.
The former Kaizer Chiefs star was handed over a South African flag in return, which the player took to go and revel in the moment with his teammates.
Thursday's win and progression to the next round for FCSB followed a 2-1 victory at Stadio Toumbas in Greece in the first leg, giving them a 4-1 aggregate score over PAOK. In the first leg, Ngezana came on at the start of the second half and played for 45 minutes.
