What's the story?
A new reality TV show from Showmax, focusing on the current and ex-partners of some of the biggest football names in South Africa will premiere this December.
Thabo September, Andile Jali, Lantshene Phalane and Kennedy Mweene are represented on the show through their current and ex partners, while two Banyana stars' wives will also feature on the show.

'Sports Wives' by Showmax
Multichoice and Showmax are expanding the "Wives" reality series trope with another reality show titled "Sports Wives" that premiers on Showmax this December.
The show will feature the wife of SuperSport United legend Thabo September, Bomzi. Dipua Maloi, who has children with both Moroka Swallows stars Andile Jali and Lantshene Phalane as well as retired goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene's ex, Sisanda Cetiywe will also be on the show.
Banyana Banyana stars Bambanani Mbane and Refiloe Jane's wives Tsholo Makgalemele-Mbane and Christa Kgamphe-Jane are also in the mix!

The show follows the lives of these wives, girlfriends and and exes who all reside in Gauteng as they navigate their friendships, motherhood and the pressure of dating a famous sport star.
Like Diski Divas, this show will show some drama, a glimpse into the difficulties and heartbreaks some of these woman have encountered with footballers.
