The story
It's been a celebratory last couple of weeks for Bafana Bafana captain Ronwen Williams, who became the first South African goalkeeper to be nominated for this prestigious Yashin Trophy award.
Williams also made history by becoming the first African goalkeeper to be nominated for the award, while based on the continent.
To celebrate his latest achievement, Williams paid another visit to his former Primary School in Gelvandale, Gqeberha, to conduct a football clinic with leaners from four different, who also took part in a short tournament through the Ronwen 30 Foundation.

Williams takes every chance he can get to give back to his hometown. Whether his foundation is hosting a tournament like their did during the Easter Weekend or a community clean-up, the Sundowns keeper hasn't forgotten where he comes from.
In a recent interview with Newzroom Afrika's Benjamin Leshoro, Williams spoke about the foundation's vision and being nominated for the Yachine Trophy at the Ballon d'Or award, that take place on 28 October in Paris.
