Bafana Bafana and Leeds United legend Lucas Radebe was gifted with a special Rasta painting at his birthday celebration over the weekend.
The celebrity portrait painter added a touch of Madiba Magic to the painting, with Radebe also receiving a special shirt from the late former President Nelson Mandela's shirt designer.

Radebe's birthday celebration
The SA football legend celebrated his 54th birthday last Wednesday and hosted a special celebration over the weekend.
Radebe was gifted with a large portrait painting from Rasta The Artist, real name Lebani Sirenje, who was honoured to present the artwork to a former player who he grew up watching.
Rasta in known for his unique approach to painting high-profile figures and depicted Radebe smiling in a black suit and a small image of the late President and South African political icon Nelson Mandela.

Bordered with a fun pattern, the painting does well to honour two legends in one go and to showcase Radebe alongside a national icon in Mandela, with whom Lucas Radebe was a personal friend to according to Sonwabile Ndamase.
Ndamase was the designer of Madiba's iconic shirts and he designed a custom Mandela shirt for Radebe, which came in Leeds United's colours:
