Breathtaking scenes at Pitso's tropical holiday

While speculation over his future continues in South Africa, coach Pitso Mosimane appears to be enjoying his vacation away from all the noise - in the tropical Maldive Islands.

What's the story?

The decorated coach remains without a job since he parted ways with United Arab Emirates side Al Wahda in November.

This has coincided with the fact that one of South Africa's biggest clubs Kaizer Chiefs are also without a permanent manager, leading to some speculation that a sensational deal could potentially be struck between the two parties.

Due to his remarkable pedigree as a manager, Mosimane has also been linked with other roles in the continent including the Nigeria national team job. Despite all the noise, nothing solid has materialised and it looks like the tactician has better things on his plate right now!

This week, he was spotted having a delightful time with his family in the Maldives. The tropical destination is famous for its white beaches, over-water cabins, and distinctly clear waters.

With a variety of marine life on the islands, the family found themselves a real-life aquarium experience, as they cruised on a boat seeing dolphins, sharks, whales, and stringrays.

The video below was posted by one of individuals traveling with the Mosiname family.

Funs facts about the Maldive islands.

Despite existing for thousands of years, the Maldives only became a tourist destination in 1972 and it is the world's flattest country.

According to the Entire Travel Group, the country's weekend is only Friday and Saturday, as opposed to the widely recognised days of Saturday and Sunday.

Furthermore, it is considered a haven for divers and marine research, as it has a rich archeological history, it is home to the biggest whale shark population, and it has the most diverse turtle species population on earth.
