The story
The Buccaneers' newest sensation, Mohau Nkota has ushered in an exciting, new era of his professional career by securing his first boots deal.
The 20-year-old, who's enjoying a breakout season on the right flank for the Sea Robbers is officially a Nike athlete, with his agency announcing that he's signed a five-year-deal.
Having made his debut earlier this season against Richards Bay, Nkota has been wearing adidas boots throughout the campaign that's seen make six goal contributions in all competitions.
Nkota joins Kaizer Chiefs baller Mduduzi Shabalala and Banyana Banyana stars Linda Motlhalo and Thembi Kgatlana as one of SA football's elite Nike-sponsored stars.

Nkota's representatives, P Management Agency took to their social media channels to announce the news by sharing an illustration of the youngster in Nike gear and a snap of him signing a contract with his new boots in front of him.
He will become the first male Nike sponsored player in the country to use the brand's new Phantom Luna Elite boots, which he could debut in Pirates' clash with Golden Arrows on Wednesday night.
