The story
The Brazilian have touched down in Europe as they seek to sharpen themselves ahead of a challenging 2024/25 season ahead.
Masandawana landed at the Munich International Airport in Germany over the weekend before crossing over to nearby Austria to settle at their base in the small town of Fulpmes, Stubaital.
Sundowns play their first pre-season tour match on Tuesday, 16 July with a friendly against German Bundesliga 3. team, SV Sandhausen. There's not much rest between their first and second pre-season fixture, as they face Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kyiv, 17 July.
On 23 July, Downs face English Championship side Cardiff City before concluding their pre-season tour with a double-header on July 26th against Saudi First Division team Al Arabi followed by a match against Saudi Pro League champions, Al Hilal.
Sundowns stars; Neo Maema, Terrence Mashego, Bathusi Aubaas, Lucas Ribeiro Costa and Rushine De Reuck wasted no time in showing off the scenic views from their team hotel.
The reigning DStv Premiership champions are on what's known as "the sunny side" of the Stubaital valley, residing in the holiday resort of Fulpmes.
The team's hotel is surrounded by the Stubai Alps, with the players capturing the cloud beautifully crashing on the snow-covered peaks.
