The story
Former Masandawana midfielder, Bongani Zungu, took to Instagram to share visuals of his weekend travels to Türkiye, landing in Istanbul before heading off to the city of Izmir.
Zungu, who parted ways with the DStv Premiership champions at the conclusion of the 2024/25 season, is joined by his partner and actress Cindy Mahlangu on his travels.
The experienced midfielder took it upon himself to announce the end of this second stint at the Tshwane Giants and his trip to Türkiye raised speculation on whether he's joining his rumoured next club, Kaizer Chiefs, on their pre-season tour to the transcontinental nation.
Although Zungu's future is still up in the air, his trip to Türkiye doesn't seem to have much to do with football or his next employer. In his IG stories, the 31-year-old tagged Prime Dental Turkey, the same dental clinic that rejuvenated Khuliso Mudau's smile.

It's not clear yet as to which dental procedure Zungu will be undergoing with Prime Dental Turkey, whichever choice he makes, he'll hope to be as happy as his former teammate is with his new smile.
