What's the story?
Mamelodi Sundowns' ball boys have received a little extra attention this week after two of them were sent off in last week's back-to-back wins.
Downs hosted AmaZulu in the DStv Premiership and TP Mazembe in the CAF Champions league and a ball boy in both matches received red cards.

Another Sundowns ball boy sent off
During Masandawana's 1-0 win over TP Mazembe at the Lucas Moripe Stadium, one of the Brazilians' ball mischievous ball boys were sent down the tunnel for an early shower.
As reported by veteran journalist Mahlatse Mphahlele, the young man received his marching orders by the fourth official after repeated complaints from the TP Mazembe players.

This latest sending off for a Downs ball boy follows an incident midweek where three AmaZulu players had a go at a youngster for his time-wasting antics in the second half:

Correct call. Now we wait to see if these CAF officials have the balls to do this in the Northern parts of the continent because that's where this issue started. https://t.co/hLLRungfng

CAF Experience has really taught Sundowns to be equally dirty, this happens a lot in North Africa and I love to see it in Southern Africa ???? Mazembe also does this a lot esp when they are leading...we need to learn ????

It's safe to say, Sundowns is actually now coaching their ball boys to do such. Something they've learnt on the road maybe ? ??

Either way it's disgusting
They learned from the best???????? pic.twitter.com/u7qVZPF6XM

Sundowns is so unprofessional for a team with a 1 billion rand budget per season. They should win games fairly and on merit. I am extremely disappointed
— Dzhokhar (@blackpresidante) March 3, 2024
This nonsense adds no value to the progression and improvement of the game. ??
