The story
As the connection between football and fashion strengthens in popular culture, brands like Kabelo Kungwane's Kasi Flavour10 remain dedicated to bringing the best of the beautiful game to a broader, non-traditional football audience.
Kungwane has delivered yet another stunner of a football jersey, this time, working in collaboration with Flying Fish and PANTONE SUNDAYS, a colour themed fashion party.
Hosted at the Old Johannesburg Train Station in Newtown this past Saturday, the theme colour for PANTONE SUNDAYS was yellow, serving as a "goodbye to summer" theme.
Kasi Flavour10 showcased two bright yellow jerseys for the event, featuring a Kasi Flavour10 badge in the middle, Flying Fish embellished in the middle and a collar similar to we've seen from Brazil's home kits in the late 80's and a remake in 2013 from Nike.
The jerseys are separated by the colour on the collar, with one being green and the other in blue. The jersey comes with detailing of a fish's skin that's seen on the beer brand's bottle labels.
