INCOMIMG: Mourinho documentary on Netflix
Jose Mourinho has revealed that he is the subject of a brand new Netflix documentary and reckons fans will think he's an "idiot" after they watch it.
Mourinho has a reputation has one of the most charismatic coaches in football since his breakthrough at FC Porto. His career took him to European giants; Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Manchester United.
He's left in dramatic fashion at almost every club he's coached but undoubtedly left a lasting legacy at Chelsea and Inter, winning a treble with the latter and building one of the most formidable defensive units in English Premier League history with the former.
With two UEFA Champions League titles, three English Premier League crowns, an FA Cup, two Serie A titles and an iconic La Liga triumph among his accolades, it's no wonder Mourinho's self-proclaimed "Special One" nickname has stuck all these years.
Mourinho broke the news about the upcoming doccie after Roma's 2-1 Copa Italia win over Cremonese on Wednesday, admitting there will be a scene where viewers will think he's a "total idiot."
"I'll give you some news, a documentary about me starts on Netflix, it's a documentary about my career and it starts on Thursday.
"There are things that will only be known there, they pay me well. I hadn't signed with Roma yet, but I had given my word. A club came along and wanted me to break my agreement with Roma, which hadn't yet been signed, and I said no," stated Mourinho, who added:
"When the documentary comes out everyone will say I'm a total idiot. When Portugal arrived I immediately told the president about it.
"When Saudi Arabia arrived I immediately told the president about it. This is why I don't think they talk to other coaches behind my back, for me it's not like that because there is reciprocity," concluded the 60-year-old.
