Kaizer Chiefs attacking midfielder, Gaston Sirino put on a commanding performance on his debut for the club against Marumo Gallants on Saturday.
The Glamour Boys had to come from behind to beat Gallants 2-1, with Mduduzi Shabalala and Mfundo Vilakazi getting on the scoresheet.
Sirino assisted Chiefs' opener and earned praise from Nasreddine Nabi after the match, showing pride in the former Sundowns man for proving doubters wrong.
Vusi 'Mavreka' Hlabangwana also showed Sirino some love after his Chiefs debut — giving the player credit for rising to the occassion and not giving up on his career.

The strength and conditioning trainer was shown some appreciation by Gaston Sirino's wife, Melanie, to inspiring her husband's comeback and for encouraging him in difficult times.
"Thank you, we will never forget your words in difficult times and that you helped bring out the best in my husband. Thank you, God bless you. You are one of those people who inspires," shared Melanie.
Sirino commented on Hlabangwana's appreciation post dedicated to him, noting: "You always have to push, thanks brother, see you soon," perhaps signaling there's plenty of work the experienced campaigner wants to do with Mavreka.
