The story
Tempers flared after TS Galaxy and Kaizer Chiefs played to a 2-2 draw at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane last week Tuesday.
Kaizer Chiefs striker Ranga Chivaviro and TS Galaxy wide man, Sphiwe Mahlangu each got onto the scoresheet twice, serving up a goal feast despite Kaizer Chiefs losing Edmilson Dove to a second yellow card on the stroke of half time.
Dove wasn't the only Chiefs player given their marching orders, goalkeeper Brandon Petersen was shown a red card for alleged foul language from the bench against referee Cedric Muvhali after what he felt was a poor offside call.
The on-pitch tension reached boiling point down the tunnel when a TS Galaxy player in his club tracksuit was being held back in his efforts to confront a member from the Amakhosi team.
The Galaxy player was heard shouting: "Do you want to beat me up?" before being told to "calm down" and head back into the change rooms by what looked to be a member of Kaizer Chiefs' coaching staff.
