The story
South Africa outplayed Benin 2-0 in a 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, on Tuesday evening, going five points clear at the top of Group C.
Bafana Bafana claimed the win thanks to second half goals from Burnley's Lyle Foster and Sundowns' Jayden Adams, with the victory lifting them to 13 points from six matches.
The post-match scenes saw the players staying true to their local football routes by belting out iGwijo songs in the changeroom and on the bus.
Bafana Bafana's Head Tactical Analyst, Sinesipho Mali and defender Siyabonga Ngezana both shared videos, capturing the lively celebrations from the players and staff.
