DStv Premiership clubs Mamelodi Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs and Swallows took to social media to pay their respects to fallen rapper, AKA.
The celebrated hitmaker was tragically killed in Durban, late Friday night, with Manchester United first team coach Benni McCarthy also paying tribute to the staunch United fan, who was also his good friend.

RIP AKA
Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, known as AKA, sadly lost his life on Friday night outside a nightclub in Durban.
Tributes for the 'All Eyes On Me' rapper have been pouring in over the weekend, with Sundowns, Chiefs and Swallows commemorating the life of the late 35-year-old.
AKA was a strong follower of English Premier League heavyweights Manchester United and the club's first team coach Benni McCarthy also shared a touching tribute on Instagram.
"AKA's contribution to pop culture will continue for generations to come. His music will continue to live in our hearts. He will be sorely missed by everyone of us," said Sundowns' Instagram tribute.

Swallows used a picture of AKA in the background of their starting line-up graphic for their Nedbank Cup clash against Stellenbosch, while also coming together with Stellies to pay tribute to their fallen star, Oshwin Andries.

"You are undoubtedly one of S.A.'s best artists. We will always remember you as a Khosi 4 Life! May your soul Rest In Peace SuperMega and may our prayers bring comfort to your family and loved ones," read Chiefs' Instagram tribute, which was accompanied by a picture of AKA wearing their 2014/15 away jersey.
Benni McCarthy, who appeared on AKA's 'Kontrol' music video in 2014, shared some throwback snaps between him and the legendary rapper on Instagram:
