The 2024 edition of the Engen Knockout Challenge got off to flying start in Cape Town, where Stellenbosch FC and Cape Town Roses successfully defended their respective titles at the three-day tournament played at the Erica Park Stadium in Cape Town.
In line with the tournament's #ItsYourMoment tag line, the start of the tournament set the bar high with a number of highlights which included Stellenbosch and City's title defense, identification of talent by the Engen Knockout Challenge scouts, and the nurturing of aspiring coaches and referees by ambassadors Thabo Senong and Akhona Makalima
