Kaizer Chiefs 4-4 Maritzburg United

Kaizer Chiefs and Maritzburg United could not be separated, as they clashed in a eight-goal thriller, which ended in a 4-4 draw.

Happy Mashau handed Maritzburg the lead after five minutes, heading home at the far post, before Menzi Chili bagged a quick-fire brace to extend the lead to 3-0.

Emmanuel Letlotlo continued his scoring run, by pulling one back for Chiefs just before the break, before Bongani Ndulula reduced the deficit again shortly after the halftime break.

Chiefs then leveled matters through Benny Malope's free-kick in the 49th minute, before Bandile Shandu restored Maritzburg's lead in the 70th minute.

However, AmaKhosi grabbed another equaliser a minute later, when Letlotlo completed his brace to ensure both sides earn a share of the spoils.

Bloemfontein Celtic 2-0 Chippa United

Bloemfontein Celtic secured their second successive win, after they recorded a 2-0 victory over Chippa United on Saturday morning.

Kabelo Mahlasela handed Celtic the lead after 41 minutes, before Pule Letshabo sealed the win midway through the second half.

Platinum Stars 1-3 University of Pretoria

University of Pretoria continued to their winning start, with a 3-1 victory over Platinum Stars on Saturday afternoon.

Vincent Khumalo handed Dikwena the lead from a dead-ball situation, before Lennox Bacela leveled matters for AmaTuks.

Botshelo Mfulwane then handed Tuks the lead moments later, the Champions then sealed the win late in the second half via captain, Mpho Maruping.

Jomo Cosmos 0-0 Polokwane City

Jomo Cosmos and Polokwane City were forced to share the spoils after the two sides played out to a 0-0 draw at the Olen Park Stadium.
