Siyanda Ngubo scored a brace to help Orlando Pirates secure a 2-1 win over Free State Stars in the MutliChoice Diski Challenge on Sunday morning.
Winger Katleho Maphate gave Ea Lla Koto the lead in the 22nd minute, with a fine solo effort.
With 20 minutes to go in the second half, Pirates coach Augusto Palacios brought on Ngubo and the impact was instant, as he leveled matters a minute after coming on.
Four minutes later and Pirates were in the lead, as Ngubo popped up to slot home his second of the game.
Ngubo is a Amajita star, he featured in the ABC Motsepe league for North West Shinning Stars last season, and he is a player from the the Buccaneers development.
Pirates remain in second spot in Group B, while Stars remain in fifth spot.
