SuperSport United booked their spot in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge semi-finals with 2-0 victory over Platinum Stars on Saturday morning.
SuperSport looked threatening in the opening exchanges, with Morne Nel being gifted time and space to pick out some delightful passes.
Stars had the chance open the scoring in the 15th minute, as Mlilo latched on a fine through-ball but the striker fired his effort straight at Dumisani Msibi.
However, it was SuperSport who opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, as Ryan Chapman headed home Rambuwane's inviting cross.
The lead was doubled 10 minutes later, Rambuwane put in another delightful for cross from the left, which Mghobozi converted from close range.
The second half failed to provide the same amount of goal-mouth action as the first, with Dikwena failing to deliver in the final third.
Although, Chapman should have got his second and SuperSport's third in the 79th minute but the striker's cheeky lob sailed wide of the mark from six-yards out.
The game ended on a sour note for SuperSport, as substitute Skhumbuzo Mazibuko was shown a straight red for late challenge.
