Mamelodi Sundowns were crowned MultiChoice Diski Challenge champions after thumping Cape Town City 4-1 on the final day of the campaign.

The Brazilians broke the deadlock after 11 minutes courtesy of a fine header from captain, Motjeka Madisha.
The lead was doubled on the stroke of halftime as Keletso Makgalwa netted his eighth goal of the campaign with a composed finish.
Samuel Julies added Sundowns' third goal shortly after break, before Eric Ntlaba bagged the fourth goal in the 57th minute.
City pulled one back through Shaquille Abrahams after 64 minutes but it proved to be nothing more than a consolation, as Sundowns secured their maiden MDC crown.

Bloemfontein Celtic finished the campaign in second spot, after they suffered a 6-3 defeat to Baroka FC in their final encounter of the campaign.
Celtic's Tshegofatso Mabasa ended the season as the MDC's top scorer with 12 goals.
