Thulani Zandamela opened the scoring for Sundowns in the first stanza but Kyle Bailey levelled matters for Stellies early in the second stanza.

Despite being a man down, Tauric Gamildien snatched the winner for Stellies in the last minute.

Cape Town City climbed to the top of the standings after drubbing Marumo Gallants 6-1 on Saturday morning.
Shakeel April and Jody Ah Shene each scored twice for City, with one goal also coming from Cee-Jay Bezuidenhout and another being an own goal from Gallants in the six goals by the Citizens.
