The striker, who hails from Klipspruit in Soweto, has reportedly fired in close to 60 goals during his time at Chiefs.
His most recent stint was spent in the club's U19 set-up, however, he recently turned out for Chiefs in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge last Sunday (September 6). During a comprehensive 4-0 win over Jomo Cosmos, Letlotlo bagged a brace as Chiefs' youngsters ran riot against Ezenkosi. In fact, the young gun's ability to score goals is well documented – during his early career with Young Stars from U11 up till U17, he was the top scorer in every season. While it is perhaps too early to say whether he will continue his goalscoring feats at senior level – there does appear to be positive signs he could be one to watch out for in future. His brace in the MDC was strong evidence that he is more than ready for some tough competition at a higher level. With the MDC a big opportunity for talented young players to showcase their talents to a national audience, it could be that the young gun from Klipspruit is one to keep an eye out for! 'Adebayor' who is 19, currently leads the goal scorers' charts in the MDC with two goals and will look to add to that tally this weekend. Amakhosi's development side next face Maritzburg United on Saturday (12 September). The action gets underway from 12h00.
