The big match against Kaizer Chiefs could lead to some crucial decisions at Chippa United going forward in the club's improving campaign.
Following the changes that saw Daine Klate relieved of his duties as the head coach last month, Morgan Mammila has been in charge of the technical team as caretaker coach along with Siyabulela Gwambi who served as one of the assistants under the former SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates winger.

The Chilli Boys went to the recent FIFA break having won two matches in succession against AmaZulu and Marumo Gallants, respectively, and the club made the decision to halt further technical team changes.
With the Gqeberha-based outfit set to visit Chiefs on Saturday at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, indications are that Mammila could get himself closer to a head coaching role at the club, should the team maintain their 100% win record.
After fighting against relegation last season, Chippa boss Siviwe 'Chippa' Mpengesi is said to be keen to reward Mammila with the job, should the administrator-turned-coach prove that he can lead the club to greater heights in upcoming matches.

Meanwhile, Chippa defender Roscoe Pietersen has credited the technical team for keeping the players at their best ahead of the Chiefs match.
"The preparations are going well. Yes, I guess the break didn't come at the best of times because like you said we beat Marumo Gallants and we come off back-to-back-wins, something the club hasn't achieved for quite some time and that obviously lifted the confidence within the group. Having to go four weeks without competitive football is a bit challenging but thanks to the technical team, I think they really looked after us well. The group of players also, we can see the intensity at training, so things are looking on the up for us," said Pietersen, speaking through the club's media department.
