The Premier Soccer League has confirmed the stadium to host the 2023 Carling Knockout final as Stellenbosch, Richards Bay FC, TS Galaxy and AmaZulu are set to play in the semi-finals of the innovative competition.

As per the draw, which was conducted on Monday evening, the Rockets will travel away for their semi-final against Usuthu, while the Natal Rich Boyz will play host to Stellies in the second semi-final.
While the dates and venues are yet to be confirmed for the semi-finals, the PSL has confirmed that this season's final will be hosted at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

This is the second final hosted by the venue this season, having hosted the MTN8 final, which was won by Orlando Pirates against Mamelodi Sundowns.
Questions have been asked about the large number of finals being hosted at the venue; however, as explained by Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi, the KZN Government's undertaking of costs for both finalists and the league for the match makes it difficult for other venues, which often comes at a higher cost, to compete.
