Carling Knockout Launched: Draw Revealed

The Carling Knockout for the 2024/25 season has been launched in a glittering event at the Galleria in Sandton, Johannesburg on Tuesday.

The tournament is in its second year, having launched last season where Stellenbosch FC won the trophy courtesy of a 5-4 penalty shootout win over TS Galaxy.

As confirmed by the organisers, the Carling Cup final will be played on 21 December 2024 at Orlando Stadium where the Carling Knockout champions will face the Carling Black Label All-Stars team.

Last season's Carling Cup final was played at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in January this year.

Following the Last 16 draw that was conducted during the event, SuperSport United will host Kaizer Chiefs in one of the matches while Richards Bay FC will be at home to Sekhukhune United.

AmaZulu FC will host the champions Stellenbosch FC, while Polokwane City will be at home to Marumo Gallants.

Cape Town City will be at home to Royal AM, with TS Galaxy welcoming Chippa United in another fixture.

Orlando Pirates will welcome the league's newcomers Magesi FC, while Mamelodi Sundowns will be at home to Golden Arrows.
