In their bid to make an instant return to the Premiership, Cape Town Spurs have cast their eye on recently-departed Orlando Pirates midfielder Lesedi Kapinga.

Pirates announced earlier this week that Kapinga had left the club by mutual consent just one year afer joining from Mamelodi Sundowns.
Shortly thereafter, the Siya crew reported that both Sekhukhune United and Polokwane City were keen on snapping up the 29-year-old free agent.
However, word reaching the crew's desk is that the two Limpopo-based clubs are not the only clubs keen on the former Black Leopards man.
Cape Town Spurs, who have been quite active in the recent transfer window having roped in the likes of Enock Atta Agyei, Ebrahim Seedat, Daylon Claasen, Tawfeeq Salie, Keletso Sifama, and Angelo Barrote, are keen on bringing Kapinga on board.
Naturally, they face stiff competition for the midfielder's signature; however, it is a signal of intent from Spurs who are keen on regaining promotion to the topflight having spent the 2023/24 campaign in the country's elite league.
