With player movements expected to take centre stage in the transfer window, Cape Town City are said to be open to granting a move to one of the team's stars.
In December, the Citizens finally agreed to a move for defender-cum-midfielder Craig Martin to join Orlando Pirates after being linked with the Soweto giants for some time.

According to sources, Thabo Nodada could be next in line to be allowed to go for greener pastures by the Mother City outfit, having also being linked with a Gauteng move for some time.
In recent seasons, Nodada has been linked with Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs among other clubs, following his sublime performances.
Previously, City had prioritised listening to offers from overseas for the Ixopo-born central midfielder although it is now thought that the club would also listen to local offers for a chance to cash in on the player to avoid the risk of losing him on a free when his contract runs out.
Nodada's contract with City runs until June 2024.

Meanwhile, apart from Martin, Terrence Mashego and Bradley Ralani are some of the other players to have been sold by City in recent times and now Nodada is touted to be among the next stars in line, according to sources.
