Among other players expected to join City is Angolan midfielder Carlinhos (Carlos Stenio Fernandes Guimaraes do Carmo) who recently parted ways with Petro de Luanda FC back home to relocate to the Mother City.
Meanwhile, City players are scheduled to report back today to begin preparations for pre-season training.
As part of the plans, the club had a competitive friendly match lined up against German side SV Wehen Wiesbaden for July 4 at DHL Stadium at 7:30 pm, but the fixture was later cancelled due to the proposed visiting team being unable to arrive in South Africa in time.
