ZESCO Coach: I Put Out The Second Team

ZESCO United's head coach, Zlatko Krmpotic, says that there is pressure on him going into today's CAF Confederation Cup game against SuperSport United. Read: SuperSport In Zambia Ahead Of CAF Clash The Zambian giants host Matsatsantsa at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium at 15h00 today as the clubs battle it out for a spot in the semifinals, and the Serbian coach admitted that he had to put out a second team in their last league game in preparation for the tie. Zegalacticos lost 3-0 at home to Lumwana Radiants on Tuesday night as they fell further behind league leaders, Green Buffaloes, however as the only Zambian club left in CAF competition, they are hoping to keep representing the country on the continental stage. "Yes, of course there is pressure. Zesco is a big club here in Zambia and I have big pressure, but we have also been playing in four competitions, Super Cup, league, domestic cup and now CAF. "The last game I put out the second team and we lost 3-0… I don't have 20 or 30 players all on the same level, but motivation is not a problem for this game though, and we think that we'll play a good game today." Meanwhile, on their South African opponents, the 59-year-old said, "At this level, one or two mistakes will mean that we won't have the chance to win. This game you must play without big mistakes. Now we'll see whether we're ready for it or not. "We're going to try to get to the next stage, but I have big respect for SuperSport United and their coach, Eric Tinkler. It's going to be a tough game." ZESCO are expecting between 10,000 and 15,000 spectators at today's game.
