There Is Big Money Up For Grabs For SuperSport United In The CAF Confederation Cup
SuperSport United will be fighting for more than just a trophy and their first continental success later this month, with a multimillion-rand prize on the line in Tunisia.   Read: Chiefs Striker Progressing   Matsatsantsa drew 1-1 with Club Africain in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final at home over the weekend, spurning several chances as they dominated the North Africans aside from their goal from the penalty spot.   Eric Tinkler is no stranger to this stage of the competition having reached the final during his time with Orlando Pirates, although the prize money has substantially increased since the start of this season's competition.   When Matsatsantsa take on Africain on the weekend of October 20th, they are fighting out for a prize money of at least R8.5m, even if they finish as runners-up.    Click here to check out the PSL fixtures   However, should SuperSport make it past the Tunisians and beat either TP Mazembe or FUS Rabat in the final then the prize money will be almost doubled, with the CCC winner taking home a cool R17m for their efforts.   SuperSport are already guaranteed around R6m for their efforts so far but will be keen to add to their kitty by the time the tournament comes to an end.
