SuperSport United Have Two Key Players Suspended For The CAF Final Next Month

SuperSport United head coach, Eric Tinkler, will have a tough decision to make after both Morgan Gould and Reneilwe Letsholonyane were ruled out of the CAF Confederation Cup final first leg. CAF wipes the slate clean with regards to bookings once the group stages are done, but Gould and 'Yeye' were both cautioned during both legs of the quarter-final against ZESCO United and now face a one-game ban. Given the fact that Tefu Mashamaite was brought on to help secure the win over Club Africain it would make sense for him to deputise for Gould in his absence, while Tinkler is not short of options in the middle of the park to replace Letsholonyane. Meanwhile, fellow finalists, TP Mazembe, have no suspension concerns going into the game next month, with none of their players being booked in either leg of their semi-final against FUS Rabat.
