SuperSport waited for the arrival of their international players from South Africa and New Zealand before making the flight out to Lubumbashi, but have now landed safely in the DRC's second largest city.
Club captain, Dean Furman, as well as Morgan Gould, Clayton Daniels, Bradley Grobler and Ronwen Williams were all on board after they landed back in South Africa from Senegal last night, while Jeremy Brockie also made after his mammoth flight from Peru via Brazil.
No team from Southern Africa has ever won the CCC in its current format, and Eric Tinkler will be hoping to become the first South African coach to do so.
