SuperSport United Had Their Luggage Tampered With Last Week

Some of SuperSport United's players arrived in the Democratic Republic of Congo last weekend to find that they had items missing from their luggage. According to Siya sources, several players opened their luggage at their hotel in Lubumbashi to find that numerous items, including clothing, had been taken at some point between leaving Johannesburg and arriving for the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup final game. It is unknown whether the bags were tampered with in South Africa or the DRC, and it appears that nothing of extreme value was taken. That game in Lubumbashi ended 2-1 to TP Mazembe, and Eric Tinkler's team will be looking to overturn that deficit in the second leg at Lucas Moripe Stadium tomorrow evening.
