Mihayo won the CAF Champions League twice as a player, losing out on the CCC in the 2013 final, and he's confident that his current crop can become the first team to win back-to-back CCC trophies since CS Sfaxien in 2007 and 2008. Speaking at a Stade TP Mazembe press conference on Saturday, he said, "If I was going to feel pressure then it would have been when we played the qualification game, but this one is a two-leg game and this is only the first leg. We do, however, need to get a result so that we can make it easier in the second leg. "We have what's necessary for us to win. It's basically the same team that won last year, and we think we can do it again this year." Meanwhile, when asked whether he would be looking for an early goal, he replied, "I'll ask my players to look for a goal as soon as possible, but it's a 90-minute match and if it comes early then that's better. I played in the 2009 final for Mazembe and the goal only came two or three minutes before the final whistle. As for now I'm fine, there's no need for pressure. "Fans shouldn't wear out if the team doesn't score in the first 20 or 30 minutes, they should keep praying. We are the only team representing the country right now, so we hope fans of other clubs come dressed in black and white to support TP Mazembe." The game is due to get underway at 15h30.
