Former Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates defender, Mark Fish, believes head coach, Eric Tinkler, deserves to be given more time.

Tinkler has guided the Buccaneers to the final of the CAF Confederation Cup, however he has struggled in other competitions.
Pirates were dumped out in the first round of the MTN8 by Ajax Cape Town and lost to rivals Kaizer Chiefs in the Telkom Knockout semis while their league form so far this season has been shaky. Tinkler's charges have only managed to pick up eight points from as many games in the league so far this season.
Nevertheless, Fish believes his former Bafana compatriot is the right man for the job and deserves to be given more time to prove his credentials.
"At a club like Pirates, you need some time. Eric has been around for a long time, as a player and as assistant coach," Fish told Soccer Laduma.
"I know his work ethic and I know he will give his all. He will give 150 percent. I do think Eric deserves more time."
