Thamsanqa Gabuza's former teammate, Mzivukile Tom, is confident that the striker can finish the job for Orlando Pirates in the Confederation Cup this weekend.

Gabuza has been the go-to-guy for Pirates' goals in this year's continental competition.
The 28-year-old has been showered with praise by Pirates coach, Eric Tinkler, for his impressive form and high work rate.
Gabuza has scored six goals so far in the competition, which is the same number of strikes for Baghdad Bounedjah of Etoile du Sahel, as well as Georges Ambourouet from CF Mounana of Gabon.
Having played with Gabuza during their time at Golden Arrows before their moves to Pirates and Mpumalanga Black Aces respectively, Tom has a better understanding of the player that the Ladysmith-born star is.
"The guy is the person that he is, a hard worker of note in any game he plays. He is the right person to finish the job for them. He is the top goal scorer in this competition. It shows that he knows what he wants. He wasn't a regular at Pirates for a long time. He has been patient for long.
"Now he is doing everything to keep his place in the team. All this thing about scoring goals comes from the heart for him and that's why I say he is the right person to finish the job for them. I think Gabuza is very close to (Kermit) Erasmus. That is working for them because both players are strikers. They talk to each other about what to do on the field. But more than anything else, his (Gabuza) patience has helped him to be the player he is today," said Tom.

Despite the concerns about the political situation in Tunisia ahead of the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final between Du Sahel and Pirates, Tinkler's side will be on their way to the North African country for the game on Sunday.
