Eric Tinkler says that he knows SuperSport United need to beat Club Africain at home in their CAF Confederation Cup semi-final, with the Tunisians having an excellent home record. Read: Injury Boost For SuperSport Matsatsantsa host the Tunisians on Sunday afternoon at 15h00 as they look to make use of home advantage ahead of the second leg next month, with the club on a high following their dramatic 2-2 draw with ZESCO United in the quarter-finals. Thuso Phala's late goal in Ndola saw Tinkler's side progress via the away goals rule, but they're now going to be coming up against seasoned CAF veterans in Africain, with the game being pushed back a day because of technical issues with their travelling delegation. Tinkler isn't bothered by the game being moved with regards to his plans though, and he told the Siya crew this week, "It's actually given me two things… One extra day for the players to recover, and also an extra day to prepare." He said, "They're a very good team with a lot of very good, technically gifted footballers. They're a team that I don't think travel very well if I look at their progress so far, but at home, they're very strong. We need to ensure that we leave here with a win. Whether it's 1-0 or whatever I don't really care, it just needs to be a win." Club Africain have only won seven of their last 21 away games in the CCC, but haven't lost at home in any competition since 2009.
